What are my odds of getting pregnant if I have a tubal reversal?

My tubes have been clamped for a little over a year now. Aside from wanting to reversal because the clamps are painful, I'd like another child. Is it still possible for me to get pregnant if I go through with the tubal reversal? I'm 26 years old. Also, why do the clamps hurt so much?

It is possible to become pregnant after a tubal reversal. Make an appointment with your local infertility specialist to determine what your chances are. Make an appointment with your gynecologist to investigate the reason that you are in pain.

The tubal clips can be removed, especially if they are causing pain or abnormal symptoms. Given your age and the type of tubal reversal you had, you should have no problems getting pregnant after the reversal procedure; that is, if there are no medical conditions or complications that would affect those chances.

I had the Hulka clips put on during a tubal ligation procedure when I was 24 years old. I am now 30 and my husband and I want another child. We are uncertain if my irregular periods are being caused by some of the Hulka clips coming off, or maybe the tube has grown around them. Is this likely and would either cause irregular periods? Also, would tubal reversal be a good option if we are considering having another child?
